A Partnership That Opened Doors: Thank You, Richwood Bank

In 2025, every single RTC client was touched by the generosity of Richwood Bank. Through their partnership and support, clients experienced opportunities, joy, and connection that truly enhanced their lives.

Because of Richwood Coffee, clients were able to take part in meaningful trips that many normally would not have. From the depths of Ohio Caverns to the joy of riding the carousel at Young’s Dairy, it truly was an amazing year filled with unforgettable experiences. Additional outings included visits to the Columbus Zoo, Dairy Queen, Discovery Riders, and Airstream, each offering new adventures and moments of discovery.

The impact of this partnership extended beyond travel though. Richwood Bank’s generosity also supported engaging activities throughout the year, including pumpkin picking, bowling, pottery classes, and a special year-end trip to the movies. These experiences encouraged creativity, friendship, independence, and confidence.

Over the years, RTC clients have enjoyed more than 10,000 cups of coffee at Richwood Bank’s Coffee Shop, can we just say wow here? What a simple and meaningful symbol of welcome, connection, and belonging. But that’s not all, through Richwood Coffee’s Guest Barista Program, RTC clients were invited behind the counter, gaining hands-on experience, building confidence, and showing the community what inclusion truly looks like. As Christy McGill shared, “We are incredibly blessed to partner with Richwood Bank. Their support has opened doors across all of our programs and has shown our community what true inclusion looks like.”

In 2025, Richwood Coffee also celebrated their own major milestone by reaching their $1 million dollar giving goal, a powerful reflection of their commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.

Because of Richwood Bank, RTC clients were able to have experiences they otherwise may never have had; experiences that brought laughter, pride, confidence, and lasting memories. We are deeply grateful for a partnership that goes beyond support and truly changes lives. Richwood Bank helped make 2025 a year defined by opportunity, inclusion, and joy for those we serve.

RTC brings Elf to the Downtown Parade

Our Christmas float brought movie magic to life this year with a joyful Elf theme inspired by the holiday classic. Teams from the Buckeye Room, Grace’s Space and The Studio worked together to create a beautiful rendition that captured Buddy the Elf’s unforgettable journey.

The float began at the North Pole, then ran through the seven layers of the Candy Cane Forest and then through the sea of whirly-twirly gumdrops, before finally arriving in New York City. Every detail reflected creativity, teamwork, and a whole lot of holiday cheer.

The finished display was truly magical, bright, festive, and everything Christmas is. It was a wonderful example of collaboration and creativity, and it brought smiles to everyone who saw it as it rolled by.

A Perfect Ending to the Year at the Holland Theatre

Our year ended on a high note with a special movie excursion at the Holland Theatre, bringing clients together for a fun and festive celebration. Leading up to the event, all clients had the opportunity to vote on which movie they wanted to see, and this year’s favorite was the holiday classic Home Alone.

Thanks to the generosity of Richwood Bank, every client was able to select their favorite movie snacks ahead of time and enjoy them during the show, making the experience even more special and inclusive.

We are incredibly grateful to our partner, the Holland Theatre, for so graciously welcoming us and providing the opportunity to host this meaningful year-end party. It was a wonderful way to celebrate choice, community, and togetherness, and a perfect way to close out the year with smiles and laughter.
