At RTC Transportation, we are dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and affordable transportation for all residents and visitors of Logan County. Our goal is to improve the quality of life by offering door-to-door services that meet the community’s needs—from daily commutes to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and much more.
Who We Serve
Our Door-to-Door Demand Response Service is available to all Logan County citizens and visitors, regardless of age, income, or ability. RTC Transportation accommodates both ambulatory passengers (those able to walk) and non-ambulatory passengers (those in wheelchairs).
While we cannot provide emergency transport, we ensure every passenger receives safe and courteous service. Children under 18 must have transportation arranged by a parent or guardian, and younger children may require car seats provided by the parent.
Transportation Services
RTC’s transportation services operate throughout Logan County. We also offer out-of-county service (within a 100-mile radius) on a limited basis, based on vehicle and driver availability. In addition to general public transportation, we work closely with the local county board of developmental disabilities to provide transport to day programs and work for eligible individuals.
How to Schedule a Ride
Booking a ride with RTC Transportation is easy!
- Call Us: Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., at (937) 593-0039 or (937) 539-2069.
- Schedule in Advance: We recommend scheduling your ride at least 48 hours in advance, though limited same-day services are available based on availability.
- Cancellation Policy: Please notify us of cancellations at least 2 hours prior to avoid being charged. No-shows will incur the cost of the scheduled trip.
Transportation Fares
We strive to offer affordable rates for all trips within Logan County.
- Standard Fare: $4.00 per one-way trip within Logan County.
- Reduced Fare: $2.00 per one-way trip for individuals 65+ or those with disabilities, through the Ohio Elderly & Disabled Transit Fare Program (verification required).
- Out-of-County Trips: $1.00 per mile from origin to destination.
- Same-Day Service: An additional $1.00 fee applies for same-day bookings, subject to availability.

Policies and Safety
At RTC, safety and courtesy are top priorities. We offer door-to-door service but require passengers to carry their own packages (up to four packages allowed per trip). Special assistance is available for those who need it, and aides are welcome to accompany passengers free of charge.
Passengers using wheelchairs must have clear access with ramps (no steps), and those using oxygen tanks are also welcome, as long as tanks are secured. Seat belts must be worn at all times unless medically exempt. Service animals are allowed in RTC vehicles as long as they remain under the passenger’s control.
In case of inclement weather, we may delay or suspend service for safety reasons. Announcements will be made on local radio stations WPKO (98.3 FM) and WBLL (1390 AM) or by calling our office.
